Wysox Volunteer Fire Company is located in central Bradford County, Pennsylvania.  We cover the Townships of Asylum, Standing Stone, and Wysox, and run approximately 150 calls a year. Of them, about 20 are structure fires or mutual aid to structures. We operate 2 engines, a heavy rescue, a squad, an attack truck (brush truck), a tanker, and a rescue boat.

Our coverage area is mainly rural, and the urban area has no municipal water. For a water supply, we rely mainly on tanker shuttles, and occasionally LDH(Large Diameter Hose) relays.  We have an industrial plant, several hotels, and strip mall in our coverage area, along with the homes and farms in the outer areas. We also provide rescue coverage (Vehicle, High Angle Rope, and Water) to our 3 Townships, and are second due for major rescue situations with North Towanda Fire and Rescue.
